Recently at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Entergy proudly continued its partnership with the American Indian College Fund, or the College Fund, by announcing a significant grant aimed at enhancing educational opportunities for Native American students.
Entergy New Orleans and Gibbs Construction have received the Louisiana Landmarks Society “2024 Award for Excellence in Historic Preservation” for restoration work on the Claiborne Substation located at 425 Elysian Fields Avenue. On May 7, 2025, Entergy New Orleans team members participated in an 8th Grade Career Day at Fannie C. Williams Charter School. This meaningful event provided students with a firsthand look into the utility sector and the diverse professional opportunities that it offers.

Recently, students from the Madison Central High School Academy of Engineering were able to visit Entergy facilities and take full advantage of their partnership with the company.

In early March 2025, Entergy sponsored the 8th Annual Career Expo presented by YouthForce NOLA and Junior Achievement of Greater New Orleans. The event welcomed more than 2,100 high school students from over 20 schools across the Greater New Orleans region.
In partnership with the National Energy and Utility Affordability Coalition, or NEAUC, Entergy joined industry partners, policymakers, and advocates in Washington, D.C., on March 3, for LIHEAP Action Day.
